Why the GAS in GAS Bricks?

GAS — quite literally stands for GET-A-SET. As long time LEGO® lovers, we understand how difficult it is to purchase or store LEGO sets. So we take all of the fuss out of it. We buy the sets, we store them, all you do is choose your set and enjoy all the fun and love of building. When you are done, simply return it and choose another!

Why should I subscribe?

Play without the fuss — We source the latest and greatest LEGO® sets out there. We store it, we maintain it – all you do is choose your subscription, and choose your sets to borrow.

Be kind to your wallet — At plans starting from just £9.99, you can borrow the best sets and at a fraction of the retail price – so you can spend all that extra on the things that really matter!

Save our Planet — Once you choose your subscription, you are on your way to doing your part on saving the planet. By using and re-using the packaging, we save tons of material, and by borrowing sets, you save tonnes of bricks from ending up in landfills.

How do I get started?

Head over to the Plans & Pricing page, choose your subscription plan that suits you best, then head over to the GET-A-SET page and choose from the available LEGO® sets. Confirm your order, and in 2-3 days you will receive your set. Let the building fun begin!

How long can I keep the borrowed sets?
Having fun? You can build, play and display your LEGO® set for as long as you want, and as long as you are subscribed.

By choosing ‘GAS Builder’ subscription service you can borrow one set at a time. Once you’re done, send it back. We’ll check it and then email you to get borrowing!

Looking for more sets? Choose ‘GAS Creator’ or ‘GAS Expert’ subscription service and you get two sets at a time. Such great value!

What is the “Expert” sets apprenticeship?

Those extra-special, top-price premium LEGO® sets are super awesome and they are super expensive. If you like the look of yourself building those, you’ll need to do a GAS Bricks Expert apprenticeship. This means for the first three months of your subscription you get to build plenty of sets that are always way over your subscription value. After that introductory period, you get to check-out the ‘Expert Sets’ because we think you’re brilliant.

Is the introductory period necessary? It helps us to stop people nicking our bricks which makes us sad. Mutual trust is important to us and we’re sure it’s important to you.

What happens if there are missing pieces or items from my borrowed set?

We don’t want anything to spoil your fun. That’s why we go over and above to make sure you get a complete LEGO® set on arrival.

Having a piece or two missing may not spoil your fun as you can probably get your build on anyway. But in the unlikely event that you receive a set with pieces missing, please let us know. Email: mb@gasbricks.co.uk and include the number(s) of the missing brick(s) – found on the last page of the instruction manual. If you could include any pictures that might help us identify the missing piece, too, that would be super helpful!

If you find yourself in a situation where you have lost a piece, dont worry. Sometimes accidents happen and LEGO pieces go AWOL. Again, please let us know. If it’s one or two pieces or under 10 grams we may be able to replace it from our library at no extra cost to you.

Please be aware, though, that we always check sets on return. If you send a set back with missing pieces over 10 grams or the lost LEGO piece is rarer, you will be charged the cost price for the replacement pieces and a £5 admin fee. As soon as this balance is settled, you can borrow a new set.

Can I change or cancel my subscription?

No problem. GAS Bricks subscription plans are fully flexible and adaptable to your changing circumstances.

  • Want to upgrade? You can do it anytime.
  • Want to cancel? Send us your set, we’ll check it and then you can cancel your subscription (But, we will certainly beg you to change your mind first!)
What’s the deal with set cleanliness?

We set the highest standards in ensuring all our sets come fully sanitised to you. We follow the strictest guidelines and all our sets meet the UK and EU safety standards.

What’s the delivery and return charges?

Unlike many other retailers, we make no profit on the shipping. We actually charge you less than it costs us to deliver your set.

You pay £4.95 upon choosing your GAS Bricks set(s) and once received, there’ll be details inside the box about how to access the pre-paid returns label when you’re ready to return. Effectively you are paying less than £2.50 each way to receive and return your set.

Real or fake?
OF COURSE IT IS!

We only use genuine LEGO® sets and replacement pieces. We love LEGO, and would never settle for anything inferior.

Set requests and recommendations?

We do our utmost to source the latest and greatest LEGO® sets out there.

But if you want to build a set that’s not currently in our library, reach out to us at MB@Gasbricks.co.uk, and we will do our utmost to add it to our library.
